Visiting old Chiang mai old city ( part 2 )
Hi! everybody . From the last article, I told you about the local market which you can visit in the early morning before visiting temples in the old city and I was mentioned the other market which also very interesting to visit as well " Warorot Market ". Warorot Market is the biggest local fresh market in the town of Chiang Mai. For local people, they call this market " Kad Luang " which means a big market ( Kad means market, Luang means very big ). The market was built firstly about 100 years ago. It is located about 1 km. eastern direction from the old city. When I was a child to go to this market with my mother I felt like going to a shopping mall, it was so big, many things selling there and a lot of people. Now a day this market still one of the famous shopping areas for local people, Thai tourists, and Foreigner tourist because they can find almost every things here.
